1. Despite testifying twice against the illegitimate disposition of the John Ball School site and without change or challenge to any of the valid arguments placed on the public table they capitulated to the city ignoring the overwhelming objection of Portsmouth property and business owners and then abandoned them forcing the creation of the Portsmouth Residents Action Committee to protect and defend local interests from those of city hall.

2. Despite 166+ NO votes on the public record and the objection of the North Portland Business Association against the Portland Hope Meadows Corporation plan, they refuse to appeal the likely recommendation of the conditional use permit hearings officer which would allow the issue to return to the political arena where it began and force mayor Sam Adams and commissioners Leonard and Fritz - who testified against the resolution in October 2006 - and commissioner Nick Fish to face an angry constituency and justify their votes to continue the giveaway of 1.4 million dollars of public property WITHOUT DUE PROCESS.

3. All of the above have no regard for the total lack of DUE PROCESS in the disposition of the John Ball School site resulting in more public housing, social service and public safety stress in the Portsmouth neighborhood and North Portland while in the exact same situation involving the disposition of the Washington/Monroe site due process resulted in a $600,000 federal grant to develop a community center in the Buckman neighborhood.

4. All of the above support the discredited and abhorrent policy of unlimited concentration of public housing - including Portsmouth and every neighborhood in North Portland. They have no objection to government programs that would increase public housing in Portsmouth to 100% driving out all private property and business owners.

5. All of the above oppose a public policy of equitable distribution of public housing and access to the public housing statistical data that is required to execute that policy.

6. None of the above supported the Oregon National Guard's effort to move into the Army Reserve Center.

7. All of the above oppose the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area Advisory Committee statement requesting no more PDC funding for public housing in Portsmouth and setting a cap of 15% public housing clients in any neighborhood. Portsmouth already has 30%.

8 All of the above have ignored, dismissed and oppose the North Portland Business Association's reasonable, legitimate and necessary quest to bring more disposable income to North Portland to attract and sustain businesses.

9. All of the above have a history of commitment to undemocratic PNA elections including a refusal to allow the Portland city council and the Portland taxpayers - that pay for their meeting pizza, beverages etc. - access to their list of qualified voters.

10. All of the above refuse to publicly acknowledge that the University Park United Methodist Church Corporation holds a seat on the PNA board and not its chosen representative who is not a property owner, nor business owner nor resident of the Portsmouth neighborhood.

Please consider the impact of these public policy positions on the quality of life in Portsmouth, North Portland and every neighborhood in the city of Portland.
